I’m a seasoned veteran when it comes to guiding new copywriters and designers through projects and building better collaboration on creative teams. I also enjoy leading creative exercises, brainstorming sessions, and sharing what I learn from courses I take. I’m always taking something.

Creative newsletter

If you aren’t consistently sharing what your creative team is doing, it will be taken for granted. To champion my team’s contributions, I started a creative team newsletter shared monthly via Slack Canvas. It’s focused on highlighting 3 projects that make an impact on current company goals.

Creative Book Club

I started a monthly Creative Book Club for thoughtful discussions. I provide a worksheet to help members take notes, and we meet to get different perspectives from colleagues around the world.

Print isn’t dead

I installed a print magazine rack for my creative team. I love making physical spaces a little more interesting… and inspiring new ideas.

Hackathon

I was also part of the winning annual hackathon team – a collection of writers, content strategists, and product designers that reimagined how we could motivate our learners to learn more often.
