It's no surprise that the Mission District has the highest concentration of street art in San Francisco. Everyone knows about Clarion Alley, which at this point could be considered the typical tourist stop, but my personal allegiance stands with Lilac Alley.
I love when new murals or additions go up and Lilac Alley holds a special place in my heart because it's just a little more gritty. There are RIPs to fallen friends, references to 90s pop culture, celebrations of sports championships, and just a whole lot of badassery in general. I'm always documenting it whenever I roll through, so I'd like to share some of those images. Lilac Alley foreva eva!
